That moment became the foundation of Harmony Pastures, right here in Byford, Western Australia.
What started as one person’s journey toward healing grew into a community of riders, therapists, and families. All connected by one belief: Horses change lives.

Who founded Harmony Pastures and why?
Harmony Pastures was founded by someone who experienced the power of horses during personal recovery. The centre was created to share that same healing connection with others and to provide a calm environment for growth.
Harmony Pastures is supported by a professional team of coaches, therapists, and animal care specialists. Each person plays a role in creating a safe, welcoming environment where people and horses can connect and thrive.
Yes. Harmony Pastures works with both plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants. The programs support emotional wellbeing, skill development, and confidence building through guided interaction with horses.
Every activity at Harmony Pastures is guided by its core values connection, compassion, integrity, and safety. These values shape how people are welcomed, how horses are cared for, and how programs are delivered each day.
Yes. Programs are adapted to suit individual abilities and comfort levels. The staff are trained in trauma-informed practice and ensure that every participant feels secure, respected, and supported.
The first visit is a relaxed introduction to the centre. Guests meet the staff, spend time with the horses, and discuss their goals. The team then recommends the most suitable program and explains what to expect in future sessions.
